A little over a year and a half ago I came across a grassroots movement in my own backyard. It was focused on taking back the U.S. from a runaway government through Article V of the Constitution (read more about that HERE). I really wanted to be a part of it. I grabbed my camera and went to Olympia, Washington's capital, for a rally on the capital steps (my pictures were used in their video on the rally - see it below). I believe that something needs to happen. Our government has gotten too big and too intrusive. We need to remind it who it works for because it is beginning to act like we work for it. Check out conventionofstates.com/ to learn more, sign up to volunteer, donate, or whatever if you feel so inclined. Our leadership needs to know that we are not peasants they can control and command. Also, check out @cosproject on Twitter and/or Convention of States on Facebook! Thank God the forefathers were smart enough to know that our government could eventually follow in King George's footsteps and gave us a way to rein it back in!
